Terms of service

Last updated

These terms govern your use of Finmind, the financial information and investing platform at finmind.uz, its Telegram bot and its Telegram Mini App (together, the service). The service is operated by Finmind (finmind.uz), referred to here as Finmind, we or us.

By creating an account, signing in, or paying for a feature, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy, which explains how we handle your personal data. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1.The service

Finmind collects information from official and public sources in Uzbekistan (among them the Tashkent Stock Exchange, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan and openinfo.uz) and offers tools built on it: market data, portfolio tracking, a connection to your own brokerage account, the investor tax declaration, accounting, planning and analysis tools, learning material, an AI assistant, notifications and a Telegram bot.

Some pages are public, such as the stock and bond pages. Everything else requires an account.

Finmind is not a bank, a broker, an exchange member, an investment adviser or an asset manager. We do not hold your money or your securities, and we do not execute trades on our own account.

2.Who may use it

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. By using the service you confirm that you are.

You may connect only brokerage accounts, cards and other financial accounts that belong to you or that you are authorised to manage.

Back to contents

3.Your account and its security

You can sign in with an email address and password, with Google, or with Telegram where that option is shown. Give accurate information and keep your email address current, because we use it to verify your account and to reach you about security.

You are responsible for keeping your password, authenticator app, recovery codes and the Telegram account linked to Finmind secure, and for everything done through your account. We recommend turning on two-factor authentication in Settings.

Tell us at once through support if you believe someone else has used your account. We may suspend sign-in or trading on an account to protect you or the service.

4.Free and paid features

The service is organised into features. Some are free for every account: they include portfolio tracking, broker synchronisation and statements, importing holdings, manual orders through your own broker, the order book, the simulator, learning material, the money rules and milestones, and answers from the AI assistant. Other features are paid, including market data modules, automated orders (such as stop-loss, scheduled and algorithmic orders, copy trading and AI trading), valuations and advisory tools.

The current list of features, their prices and which of them are free are shown in the catalogue on the home page and, after you sign in, on the Features page. We may add, change or retire features. If we retire a paid feature you have already paid for, we will offer a pro rata refund or an equivalent feature for the unused period.

5.Prices and payments

Paid features are sold as time-limited access, not as an automatically renewing subscription. You choose a period of 30 days (monthly) or 365 days (annual). Access starts when your payment is confirmed and ends at the end of the period unless you buy it again. Nothing is charged automatically.

Prices are set in Uzbek som (UZS) and shown before you pay; the price that applies is the one the server calculates for your basket when the payment request is created, including any discounts and credit. We may change prices, but a change never affects access you have already paid for.

The payment methods offered at checkout may include a Paynet QR payment or bank transfer that an administrator confirms, card payment through a Telegram invoice processed by CLICK, and Telegram Stars. Card payments are handled by the payment provider; Finmind never sees or stores the card you pay with.

  • Telegram Stars. The price in Stars is the UZS amount after your discounts, converted at the rate Finmind publishes and rounded up to a whole Star. An invoice can be paid only from the Telegram account linked to the Finmind account it was made for, once, and before it expires. Telegram processes the payment under its own terms.
  • Manual confirmation. A payment made by QR or bank transfer switches on access only after an administrator matches it to your payment reference (it starts with FM-). Keep the reference and your receipt.

Each payment keeps a record with its reference, amount, method and status, which you can see on the Billing page.

6.Refunds

If a Telegram Stars payment cannot be accepted (for example the invoice has expired or was already paid), the Stars are returned automatically.

In any other case you can ask for a refund through support in the app (Settings, then Support) or with /paysupport in the Telegram bot, quoting your payment reference. A Finmind administrator reviews every request. When a refund is granted, the access bought with that payment ends as soon as the refund is recorded.

Stars are refunded to the Telegram account that paid. Money paid by QR, bank transfer or card is returned through the payment provider or by bank transfer to you.

Nothing in these terms limits any right to a refund that you have under the consumer protection law of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

7.Discounts, referrals and credit

From time to time we offer discount codes and campaigns, a student discount and a referral programme. Their current conditions are shown where you apply them. Under the conditions in force on the date above:

  • The student discount is available to an account whose verified email address is on a recognised academic domain (for example .edu). We check only the email domain; no document is needed.
  • A referral code can be attached when a new account is created. The new account receives a discount on its purchases, and the person who referred it receives credit when the referred account pays. Credit becomes usable after a holding period, is limited per month and can be used only towards Finmind features. It has no cash value and cannot be transferred.
  • Discounts from different sources are combined only up to the limit shown at checkout.

We may refuse, cancel or reverse a discount, a referral or credit that was obtained by self-referral, duplicate accounts or other abuse, and we may end a programme at any time. Discounts already applied to a completed payment are not affected when a programme ends.

8.Connecting your brokerage account

You can connect your own account at fondbozori.uz by giving Finmind its sign-in details. We store them encrypted and use them only to read your holdings, cash, orders and statements and, when you ask, to place or cancel orders in that account on your behalf. You can remove the connection at any time.

Every order is your instruction and your responsibility. This includes orders you place by hand and orders placed by automated features that you set up and switch on, such as stop-loss, scheduled orders, algorithmic trading, copy trading, autopilot plans and AI trading. Live orders are sent only when live trading is enabled for your account; you can turn it off in Settings. Check every order before you confirm it.

Orders are executed by your broker and the exchange under their rules, fees and trading hours, not by Finmind. We do not guarantee that an order will be accepted, filled or filled at a particular price.

Sometimes we cannot tell whether the broker received an order or a cancellation, for example when the connection drops at the moment it is sent. In that case the service marks the outcome as unknown and never sends the same order or cancellation again. It checks the broker's order list for about 30 minutes and tells you the result. If the result is still unclear after that, it asks you to check with your broker directly, and you should do so before placing the order again.

Holdings, balances and profit figures shown in Finmind are calculated from the data your broker provides and may differ from your broker's official statements, which prevail.

9.Not investment advice

Everything in the service, including market data, valuations and their verdicts, screeners, signals, portfolio analysis, tax calculations, the AI assistant's answers and AI trading suggestions, is information and tooling. It is not investment, legal or tax advice and not a recommendation to buy or sell any security.

Investing involves risk, including the loss of the money you invest. Past performance does not predict future results. You make your own decisions and are responsible for them; consider independent professional advice where appropriate.

The AI assistant uses a language model and can be wrong. Check anything important against the source.

The tax declaration tools help you prepare figures; you remain responsible for what you file with the tax authority.

10.Market data and sources

Market and company data come from third parties, among them the Tashkent Stock Exchange (uzse.uz), fondbozori.uz, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan (cbu.uz), openinfo.uz, uzex.uz and uzrvb.uz, and for international markets other public providers. Prices on the public pages are stored daily closes, not live quotes, and other figures may be delayed.

We work to show data accurately and to leave out rather than invent figures a source does not publish, but we do not guarantee that data is complete, current or free of errors, and it is not an official record of any exchange or authority.

11.The Telegram bot and Mini App

The Finmind bot and Mini App run inside Telegram, which is a separate service with its own terms and privacy policy. Connecting a chat to your account lets the bot send you notifications and sign-in codes and answer commands about your account. You can disconnect it with /unlink or in Settings.

The bot's /terms command summarises the purchase terms in this document; if the two ever differ, this page prevails.

12.Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service in breach of the law, including securities, market abuse, sanctions and anti-money-laundering rules;
  • access another person's account or data, or connect a financial account you are not authorised to use;
  • probe, scan or test the service's security except as described on the security page, or interfere with its operation;
  • scrape or bulk download data, or resell or redistribute the service or its data, without our written permission;
  • create accounts to abuse discounts, referrals or free features.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

13.Intellectual property and your content

The service, its software, design and original content belong to Finmind or its licensors. Data from third-party sources remains subject to their rights. You may use the service for your own personal investing and financial management.

Data you enter or import remains yours. You allow us to store and process it to provide the service to you, as described in the privacy policy.

14.Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep the service available and working correctly, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error free. It depends on third parties, including data sources, your broker, payment providers, Telegram and our hosting and network providers. We may carry out maintenance, and we may change or discontinue parts of the service.

Back to contents

15.Limitation of liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Finmind is not liable for:

  • investment losses or missed gains, including losses from orders you or your automated features placed, from orders that were delayed, rejected or not placed, or from decisions based on data, valuations or AI answers;
  • errors, delays or gaps in data from third-party sources, or actions and failures of your broker, the exchange, payment providers or Telegram;
  • indirect or consequential losses.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Finmind in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Back to contents

16.Ending your use

You can stop using the service at any time. To have your account deleted, write to support; the privacy policy explains what is deleted and what we must keep.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other users or the service. Where we close an account without a breach on your part, we will refund the unused part of any paid access.

17.Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan. If you have a complaint, please contact support first so that we can try to resolve it. Disputes that cannot be resolved that way are decided by the competent courts of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

18.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. When a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the app or by a notification before it takes effect. If you continue to use the service after that, the updated terms apply; if you do not agree, you can stop using the service and ask for your account to be deleted.
