Refund policy

Last updated

This policy says when a payment to Finmind is refunded, how the money comes back for each way of paying, how long it takes and how to ask. It forms part of the terms of service. Nothing here limits any right to a refund you have under the consumer protection law of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

1.What you buy

Paid features are sold as time-limited access: 30 days (monthly) or 365 days (annual) per feature, switched on in your Finmind account once the payment is confirmed. There is no subscription and nothing renews or is charged automatically, so there is never anything to cancel to stop future charges: access simply ends at the end of its period.

The price you pay is the one shown at checkout before you confirm: the UZS amount for your basket after any discounts and Finmind account credit, or its equivalent in Telegram Stars. No fee, commission or conversion charge is added afterwards.

2.When a payment is refunded

  • A payment we could not accept. A Telegram Stars payment that arrives for an invoice that has expired, was already paid or does not belong to your Finmind account is returned automatically, without a request.
  • Access that was never switched on. If your payment was confirmed but the features were not switched on, tell us and we switch them on or refund the payment.
  • A payment made twice. A duplicate payment for the same basket is refunded on request.
  • A feature we retire. If we retire a paid feature you have already paid for, we offer a pro rata refund or an equivalent feature for the unused period.
  • A Finmind account we close without a breach on your part. We refund the unused part of any paid access.
  • Any other case. You may ask for a refund of a payment for any other reason. A Finmind administrator reviews every request and decides; we say yes where the law requires it and where it is fair, and we tell you why when we say no.

When a refund is granted, the access bought with that payment ends as soon as the refund is recorded, even if part of its period was unused.

3.How the money comes back, by payment method

  • Telegram Stars. The Stars are returned to the Telegram account that paid, through Telegram (its refundStarPayment call). When we record the refund, the request goes to Telegram at once and is marked returned as soon as Telegram confirms it. We cannot return Stars to a different Telegram account or as money.
  • Paynet QR, bank transfer and other manually confirmed payments. Finmind has no way to send money back through these channels. When a refund is recorded, it is a recorded obligation: the platform owner returns the amount to you by bank transfer, outside the platform, and an administrator records the date it was returned. The Billing page shows the refund first as recorded and then as returned.
  • Card payments through CLICK or Payme, where offered. These providers give this deployment no refund call, so a refund works like a bank transfer: recorded on Finmind, returned to you by bank transfer by the platform owner, then marked returned.

To return money by bank transfer we need the details of a bank account in your name; we ask for them in the support thread and use them for that transfer only.

4.Discounts, referrals and Finmind account credit

  • Finmind account credit used on a refunded payment is returned to your credit balance.
  • A referral reward earned by the person who referred you is reversed when your payment is refunded.
  • A discount code or campaign used on a refunded payment is released and can be used again where its conditions allow.

5.A payment that is still pending

A payment request that has not yet been confirmed can be cancelled by you on the Billing page; it can never be approved afterwards. If you have already sent the money for it, do not cancel: write to support with your payment reference so that an administrator can match it or refund it.

6.How to ask

Quote your payment reference (it starts with FM- and is on the Billing page and on the Telegram receipt) and say what happened. Write through any of these:

  • Support in the app: Settings, then Support;
  • /paysupport in the Finmind Telegram bot, from the chat connected to your Finmind account;
  • email to [email protected].

7.Timelines

  • We answer a refund request within 30 working days of receiving it, in the same thread.
  • Telegram Stars are returned within minutes of the refund being recorded, once Telegram confirms it.
  • A bank transfer is sent by the platform owner after the refund is recorded; how long it takes to reach your bank account depends on the banks. The Billing page shows the date we sent it.

8.Your rights under the law

This policy is governed by the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Nothing in it limits any right to a refund or a remedy that you have under the Law "On Protection of Consumer Rights"; where the law gives you more than this policy, the law applies.
