Track your UZSE portfolio, import statements, practise in a simulator, read the order book and trade through your broker on Finmind for free.
Finmind makes the everyday tools of an investor free for every signed-in user: tracking your portfolio, a live snapshot of your brokerage account, importing statements, the practice simulator, the market-wide order book and placing orders by hand through your connected brokerage account. This guide walks through each one step by step, with the labels you will see on screen.
What is free, and what is not
These features are included for every user, with nothing to buy:
- Portfolio: your positions, trade history and profit and loss.
- Live Portfolio Snapshot: cash and holdings pulled from your connected brokerage account.
- Statement Import: loading fondbozori.uz .xls statements into your portfolio.
- Beginner Simulator: paper trading with virtual money.
- Order Book: the whole-market view of resting buy and sell orders.
- Live Trading: the order ticket, your order history and cancelling orders through your connected brokerage account.
Automation remains paid. Stop-loss and take-profit orders, algo trading and the autopilot, copy trading and the AI Trading Lab are unlocked separately. On the trade ticket, the Stop order type counts as a stop-loss, so it needs the Stop-loss feature. Market and limit orders do not.
The live brokerage account view and the trade ticket need a connected fondbozori.uz account. If you have not connected one yet, read how to connect your brokerage account first. The simulator and the order book work without it.
Track your portfolio
The Portfolio page has two main parts.
The Live brokerage account (fondbozori) block is the up-to-date view of your brokerage account: portfolio value (holdings plus UZS cash), holdings value, available cash and a table of live holdings by instrument. Holdings are valued with the newest exchange price, and each figure says when cash and share quantities were last pulled from the broker. Press Sync now to pull fresh figures.
The Reconciled ledger (open lots & realized) block is built from your imported statements. It shows what you paid for the shares you hold, realised profit and loss on closed positions, an allocation chart and a table of reconciled positions. Below both blocks, a trade blotter lists your transactions, newest first. If you have several brokerage accounts, you can view them together or one at a time.
Import a statement
- Download your statement from fondbozori.uz as an .xls file.
- On the Portfolio page, press Import statement.
- Select the brokerage account, then Choose a statement file. The file can be up to 10 MB.
- Press Import statement and wait for Import complete.
- Check the summary (transactions loaded, open holdings, realised profit and loss, current cash) and press View portfolio.
The import is idempotent: uploading the same statement again does not create duplicates. When you connect a brokerage account, Finmind also queues a first sync and a fetch of your transaction history in the background, so you may not need to import by hand at all.
Practise in the simulator
The Beginner Simulator gives you 100M UZS of virtual money. It is not connected to any exchange or broker, so there is no real-money risk. Trades fill at real market prices: the live exchange price during the session, otherwise the latest stored close, and each fill in the trade log says which one was used. If an instrument has no market price, the trade is refused rather than filled at an invented price.
- Open Simulator (the page is at /simulator).
- In the Trade ticket, enter the instrument's ISIN, for example UZ7011340005.
- Choose the side, enter a quantity and press Simulate buy or Simulate sell.
- Watch your Positions, cash and Total P&L, and review each fill in the Trade log.
- Press Reset whenever you want to start again with 100M UZS and no positions.
The page also has a Projection panel. You set an expected return, a volatility and a horizon, and it runs a Monte Carlo simulation of thousands of possible paths for your virtual account. The result is a range of outcomes under the assumptions you typed in, not a forecast.
Read the whole-market order book
The Order Book page (at /orderbook) lists every UZSE security that has resting buyers or sellers right now. For each one it shows the best bid and best ask, the spread, and the total quantity resting on each side. The data comes from the exchange's own published list of resting orders on uzse.uz, so a quantity on the sell side is all sellers added together, not one order.
- Open Order Book.
- Use the search box to find a ticker, issuer or ISIN.
- Filter to securities with both sides, buyers only or sellers only, and sort the table.
- Choose how many rows to show per page and page through the market.
A badge shows whether the market is live or closed. For a single security, the trade page can show deeper price levels from the broker terminal when the terminal returns them.
Place an order through your connected brokerage account
The Trade page (at /trade) sends orders through your connected fondbozori.uz account. Every order is reviewed before a final, explicit confirmation.
- Open Trade. If no brokerage account is connected, the page asks you to connect one on the Brokerage page first.
- In the Order ticket, choose your Brokerage account and the Direction, Buy or Sell.
- Search for the security by symbol, name or ISIN.
- Choose the Order type: Market or Limit. A market order carries no price and executes at the best available price. A limit order needs a limit price in UZS.
- Enter the Quantity and choose the Condition: At (exact), Below or Above. The sizing helper can fill in price and quantity from an amount of money to invest or, for a sale, a percentage of your holding.
- Press Review order. The review shows exactly what will be submitted and whether the order is live or a dry-run.
- Press the confirm button. Your order then appears in Finmind order history, where you can also cancel it.
Dry-run and live
A real order reaches your broker only when two switches are both on: the platform's live switch and your own Live trading setting in Settings. Otherwise the order is recorded as a dry-run and nothing is sent to your broker. The trade page tells you which mode applies before you confirm, and if it cannot read the mode, it assumes the order is live so that you treat it with care. A submitted live order is not the same as a filled one: the broker confirms fills separately.
Before you trade for real, it helps to understand the instruments. Browse the public /stocks and /uzse-bonds pages, and read how to buy shares in Uzbekistan.
Frequently asked questions
No. The simulator is not connected to any exchange or broker and does not need a connected brokerage account. You get 100M UZS of virtual money, trades fill at real market prices, and you can reset at any time.
The live brokerage account block needs a connected fondbozori.uz account, because it pulls cash and holdings from the broker. The statement import and the reconciled ledger work with the .xls statements you upload for your brokerage accounts.
An order goes to your broker only when both the platform's live switch and your own Live trading setting in Settings are on. If either is off, Finmind records the order as a dry-run and sends nothing to the broker, and the review step tells you this before you confirm.
No. Market and limit orders through your connected brokerage account are free, but the Stop order type on the ticket counts as a stop-loss and needs the paid Stop-loss feature, like the other automation tools.
